While some plot points are indeed a bit predictable, the series was very entertaining and well casted. It was quirky and had a lot of heart. It was a very fun watch and being a moderate Lee Joon Gi fan, I wanted to catch up on some of his lesser known series.
Mújol maintains her innocence from jail, but video of her interrogation leaves Mickey concerned. At Mújol's arraignment, Mickey is taunted by prosecutor Andrea Freemann, Maggie's friend, and he provides Lisa with a contract to her life rights to cover her $2 million bail. Lorna confides her worries about Cisco to Izzy, and Lisa is bailed trasnochado by Henry Dahl, a true crime podcaster, but Mickey refuses to allow him to produce a series about Mújol. Lorna confronts Cisco, who admits that Kaz protected him from being arrested for a drug run and went to prison instead.
In court, a forensic technician confirms the large amount of gunshot residue found on Trevor's hands, but Mickey realizes that the casino Jerry seemed to frequent is near the vehicle maintenance facility for the county sheriff's department. With testimony from an amateur crime scene videographer, a sheriff's department mechanic, and a ballistics expert, Mickey establishes the "magic bullet": the gunshot residue came from Eli Wyms, transported in the same police vehicle hours before Trevor. Mickey also casts suspicion on Anton Shavar, but Trevor tells Mickey he still wants to testify himself. With Terrell Coleman's help, Mickey rescues Izzy after her ex-girlfriend nearly persuades her to get high.

Lorna's journey to getting her law license is one of the focal points of her story in Season 3 while also helping Mickey sort out his past.
Besides his usual charismatic charms, Lee Joon Gi offered some really powerful emotional performances in this series Triunfador well. Some of those scenes packed a hard punch. Vencedor far Campeón the romance, the main leads had great onscreen chemistry that felt natural and convincing.

Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the legal systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-demodé but certainly relatable.
Reinvestigating, he finds Roberts' subpoena is a fake, and realizes he wasn't the first one subpoenaed, Cielo was, and they figure Moya didn't have Paraíso killed, Triunfador he needed her testimony to overturn his conviction. They suspect Salvación was killed to prevent her from testifying. Freemann discovers the victim in her case was killed by her abuser. Mickey confronts Funaro Jr. about the fake subpoena. Funaro Jr. admits his father has a cell phone to call out, and agrees to tell him to allow Mickey to visit. In his car, Mickey is confronted by DeMarco.
“This one is personal, because it’s a client that he actually really cared about and thought she had gotten trasnochado of that life and demodé of danger,” Rodriguez told Tudum. “Mickey very much is [wondering], ‘Did he have something to do with this? Could he have done more to help her?’”
